I am not sure of the original person of that quote, but in my own life it rings very true.  Recently, friend and fellow filmmaker Betsy Chasse (What The Bleep Do We Know?) wrote an article in the Huffington Post entitled "Crossing Enemy Lines", where she talks about her encountering me as a skeptic and atheist who quote "pretty much despised like with the white-hot intensity of a thousand suns despised everything I held dear".

The Power of Being Wrong About Your Beliefs

My, how much has changed in such a short period of time. It's amazing to look back on your beliefs and see how far you've come when you've challenged them.  It really was't that long ago when I saw my worldview much diffrent than I do today.  It's amazing how much I have learned.  I want to present to you a blog I wrote in 2011 called "Wake The Fuck Up.  And Tell Your Friends."  This is when I still considered my self a "spiritual" person.  Although now I don't hold these beliefs, I just want to show the world that it is okay to be wrong, and that there is a power in being wrong, to find truth, and change what you believe about it.  So here is my rant about a "spiritual awakening".

What Would It Take To Change My Mind About God?

I often ask people what it would take for them to change their mind about God.  Often times, there isn’t a lot of things that would change their minds.  They think that their beliefs are infallible and aren’t subject to error.  I have even heard people say there would be nothing that changes their mind.  Why is that?  Isn’t it just as important to know things as it is to believe them?
